For starters, the Sims team released this adorable video showcasing the roadmap for what is to come.

The details

• 2 New Kits
• 1 New Expansion Pack
• 1 Big update

What we know:

• We know we are getting one major update to gameplay which will be giving us a new or modified life stage, somewhere in between infant and toddler.
• LEAKED info: One of the two new kits we will be getting is rumored to be themed as undergarments.

The lovely Henford Hen on twitter has the screen snaps of one of the two upcoming kits

• Simtamates Collection (Menswear Kit)

Other than this, and the screen shots with some sims wearing  what appear to be undergarments,  we presently have no other information on what to expect from the kit.

Community Speculation

While we have seen the leaked info on one of the alleged packs all we have to work on is the video from the sims team and our crack team of community creatives who have lended their thoughts and speculation based on what the have seen. What we have pieced together from all this speculation:

• Expansion pack appears to be Generations like in its theme, focusing on family, hinting at the family tree, and we are getting a new adorable hair featured right on the Sims team twitter post
• The world appears to be possibly modeled on San Fransisco and the name may even be San Sequoia 
  
• There is a strong theme of teeth involved with either the pack/kit or both
  
  • Suspicion that losing a tooth will be a life event
  • Tooth fairy or Tooth Beary may be a new NPC that facilitates this life event
  • Possible new dentists career in the works
