We run monthly events called Streamathons where we schedule our streams to be one after the other and raid the next person on the list. This gives viewers a chance to get at least 72 hours of continuous entertainment and allows the streamers to meet new people from each other’s communities. |

The Stream Squad
A group of family friendly Sims Streamers who are inclusive and accepting of all in their communities. We actively engage with chat and raid others to share the love and community. We run monthly events called Stream-a-thons where we schedule our streams to be one after the other and raid the next person on the list. This gives viewers a chance to get at least 72 hours of continuous entertainment and allows the streamers to meet new people from each other’s communities. What can we do for you?
-We will share/like your Stream post on Social media, provided you tag us or post on our Socials -Your Stream will be linked on our Twitch page and our website -Shoutouts by Simmer’s Digest on all their social media and an interview for the podcast -Opportunity to provide a feature video for the Plumbob Academy's YouTube channel -We will provide knowledge & insight towards Stream Quality & locations for services for overlays and personal logos -If the SimStreamSquad becomes Twitch Partner you will be added to the Twitch Stream team (Date TBD) |
GOALS
The end goal of the Sim Stream Squad is to get as many of our members to Partner as possible and to make a Sims Stream Twitch Team that can house all the family friendly sim’s streamers on twitch. This allows for -Increase our exposure and gain publicity within The Sims community. -Give new life and increase activity within our own communities. -Help bring exposure to new streamers. -Catalog the Family Friendly Sims’s Streamers on this platform for discoverability. -Increase the amount of fun and camaraderie that exists in our community. Process Once your application has been received, our review board will check out your previous VODs, not highlights, and get back to you about your application. We will either: -Give you some actionable feedback on how you can improve your stream so you can apply again at a later date -Invite you to the Plumbob Academy Media Class for support -Be invited to our ‘supply streamers’ list to fill in if our main streamers need to back out of a slot during an event -Be invited as a guest to one of our events -Be invited to the main Squad |
Requirements
To be considered for the Sim Stream Squad, a streamer must meet the following criteria: -Stream predominantly Sims content -Have been streaming for at least 6 months -Have achieved Twitch Affiliate -Have set up loyalty badges, and Tier 1, 2 and 3 emotes -Have at least 500 followers -Have at least 3 Sims stream VODs on your channel -Have completed the application to the squad here (https://forms.gle/VUWWF9poqxyzLtSH7) -Have NOT applied to the Sim Stream Squad in the last 6 months Need
