San Sequoia us here...for some of us
Reviews are in and they are a honest and ready for your input. Simmer Erin along with several of the other established Simmers have their reviews out about the latest expansion pack: Growing Together, and we got to say, so far it seems like it is a varied mix of appreciation and disappointment, nothing like the Wedding Story reviews after release, but we thoroughly enjoyed watching and getting the honest opinions of the Simmers checking out the new Build buy catalogs, game play, CAS, and world overview.

What would a new pack be without a few bugs?
We have all gotten used to a few bugs and game glitches when a new pack or update comes out to the community, well Growing Together will NOT be the exception. Simmer Erin outlines some of the major bugs that have been discovered in game, and we highly recommend you check out the video below from her to make sure you too do not get hit with this fairly major and quite unique bug that alters the very pixel coding of your Sims.

Ruddy interesting...Eco Lifestyle and how it interacts with other packs
Simmer @NaniSimming on Twitter shared this gem this past week about effects of pollution in our Sims lives that I found vastly interesting.
I had no idea that the pollution ( brought to us with the Eco Lifestyle pack) had so many different effects tied with the other packs. From Pollution having negative effects on vampire powers (who knew those plasma suckers preferred clean air) to the fact that Spell Casters can use their magic to rid themselves of those pesky flies and roaches. Check out the tweet below to see more of the effects that happen
#SimJews update
For those of you who did not know, Simmer @HufflePom on Twitter, has spent everyday of this past year asking the Sims team to add more Jewish cultural representation to the game. While the Sims team continues to expand and add new cultures and inclusivity to the base game via updates, we have not heard any news in response to this effort to bring in more Jewish Cultural elements, until NOW.
With the latest update to the game we received wearable health items and Simmer @Mimzyplays tweeted about it tagging HufflePom in hopes of this being a sign of getting more representation. To our delight @SimGuruAsh replied back to the tweet (featured below) stating that: "Things for cultures of faith are on our list, too. It's just a matter of time, where resources fall, & all the different things waiting on our list" If you are interested in following the efforts of @HufflePom be sure to give them a follow and check out the hashtag #SimJews
The latest update...more details
While we are on the subject of the latest update, we got a lot of newness, including many new options for our transgender sims, and more.
Many Simmers are over the moon excited about the continued efforts by the Sims team to be more inclusive, and we hope it is a sign of even more base game updates to help us all create our Sims, their homes, and help our Sims to live their best lives. If you'd like to listen to all of the updates then we highly recommend you give Maple Simmer's video a watch/listen today. Yeah, it is an ad. Want to help keep them off our site?
