Sims 4 players are rejoicing worldwide. On February 2nd, the iconic life simulation game unleashed news of fresh content - an update that frees infants from their previously pixeled bassinet prisons and the highly-anticipated Growing Together expansion pack that imbues the game with deeper intergenerational family ties. Through these updates, Sims 4 developers hope to fulfill some of the most desperate, longtime wishes of their passionate players.
After all, Simmers are fiercely particular about their pixel people families. Players spend hours crafting the perfect homes, molding the perfect Sims, and playing through simulated life cycle after simulated life cycle, from birth to death. One of the most echoed and pointed complaints about Sims 4 was this: that the beginning of a Sim's life cycle was extremely limited. Babies were crying, pooping, sleepy objects entirely confined to their designated bassinets. Although caretakers were able to scoop their babies up to feed or soothe them, there were no baby bath times, play mats for tummy time, or even baby showers. The Infant Update and Growing Together expansion pack changes all of that - and then some. Infant Update
Coming to all players on March 14th is an enormous base game update. This update will introduce Infant - a brand new life stage - to the game. Naturally, players will be able to create and modify infants in Create-a-Sim, but that isn't all. Sim Parents can fully change diapers in a fresh interaction; they can also put their infant down for naps or bedtime. Instead of simply crying and soiling virtual diapers, the new infants will be able to express their needs, emotions, and sentiments. Developers promise that new Sim Parents will experience infants as they are meant to be experienced: through an intense, sleepless fog.
But it is through the expansion pack Growing together that Sims 4 developers have truly "freed the infant." The pack, which releases on March 16th, adds Infant Milestones to the game. These milestones grant babies new abilities that form their adorable personalities and follow them as they grow older. The pack also introduces Infant Playmats, Changing Stations, and baby carriers to the game. Older Sims will be able to transport their bundles of joy on their backs, put their babies down on their bellies for play time, pass their babies to other Sims, and throw baby showers, a brand new in-game Event. It doesn't end there! Growing Together offers 18 discoverable Infant Quirks that change an infant's behavior. Among these Quirks are: Self-soother, Early Riser, Messy Eater, Frequently Gassy, Good Appetite, Snuggly Sleeper, Happy Spitter, Free-Air Tinkler, and more. Infants promise to be irritatingly lovable as they toot, babble, giggle, and free-pee into toddlerhood. A Whole New World
On March 3rd, 2023, Simmers will learn more about Sims 4: Growing Together during a Twitch live Stream. Then, players will get a better picture of all that the freshest expansion pack has to offer. However, between the new pack trailer, developer Tweets, and EA Blog Posts, Simmers have a good idea of what to expect.
Naturally, Growing Together boasts a brand new world for Simmers to explore. San Sequoia, once a quaint fishing village, is a safe suburban town filled with craftsman homes and family-friendly hubs. The town overlooks an expansive ocean bay with an iron bridge dominating the horizon. San Sequoia is filled to bursting with three distinct neighborhoods - Anchorpoint Wharf, Gilbert Gardens, and Hopewell Hills. Here, families can catch movies, go on power walks with grandma at Urban Park, or cool off on the new Splash Pads. If this were not enough, Lil Simsie announced that she designed many of the suburban homes in San Sequoia. This all but ensures that Simmers will enjoy the effortlessly gorgeous stylings of the popular Sims streamer without having to wade through the saturated Gallery. Create-a-Sim
Growing Together offers the best of suburban wear. It appears filled with the easy tanks and simple knitwear suitable for versatile play. Infants get adorable fruit-themed outfits like apple-dappled onesies and strawberry-printed shirts. Players can expect a slew of cute costumes, carriers, and backpacks for young Sims.
However, the Create-a-Sim star of the incoming pack is skin details. Developers have added birth marks, vitiligo, moles, and other skin markings to make each Sim more unique than ever before. Build-Buy
While developers have not yet released an official asset list for Growing Together, the trailer unveiled the kinds of cozy furniture bits and bobs one might expect from a suburban paradise.
Growing Together features:
The treehouses appear to be structures that Sims can build together in-game. They feature fun tube slides, fireman poles, fairy lights, and slots where the players can arrange the toys and items their Sims most desire.
Gameplay
Make no mistake: Growing Together is brimming with new, meaningful gameplay. In fact, familial relationships seem overhauled in a big way. Not only did developers add new experiences and interactions to the game, but they have also inserted new features that affect Sim personalities and relationships at all age levels.
Families enjoy several new group activities to experience together. At Urban Park, Sims can partake in Snowy Escape-like actions such as: walking as a group, learning to ride a bike, jogging, and hiking on nature trails. They can take in the sights and even go fishing alongside their grandparents after watching a movie at the newly refurbished cinema. After a long day of eating good food at the restaurants along the pier, families can wind down with children's stories at the library or cool off in the new Urban Park Splash Pads. Sim families will soak in all of these life-experiences while navigating the Teachable Moments that form personalities and shift family dynamics. Will the exhausted new mother allow her in-laws to finally move in? Will the jokester big brother clash with his more studious younger sister? Is dad more on edge than usual or is he going through a classic Midlife Crisis? In Growing Together, these life Milestones work together alongside Social Chemistry to create unique Sim experiences. Not all Sims will enjoy the company of any given counterpart, and not all families will successfully navigate the many milestones of their members. Failure and triumph during these crucial growing pains will form the foundation of a Sim's personality traits. Even Infants get their own milestones! Toddler Updates
Developers did not forget about toddlers for this update. In fact, like Infants, Toddlers get 18 Toddler Quirks that change their behavior and shift over time. Some examples include: Aggressive, Picky Eater, Early Riser, Little Singer, Good Appetite, Loves Water, Hates Bedtime, Loves being Carried, and more. If this were not enough, Toddlers can interact with Infants in a variety of heart-warming interations.
Child Updates
Growing Together also offers an update to the child life stage. For the first time since the launch of base game, children enjoy four new aspirations:
Sim kids will have a blast building treehouses alongside their families, aggravating their parents with pranks and pillow fights, crafting intricate friendship bracelets, and engaging in cozy slumber parties complete with cute sleeping bags. Notably, kids can learn how to ride a bike under their caretaker's watch, but make sure those helmets are secure because children can also lose teeth. However, not even the Tooth Fairy can keep a Child's Confidence as high as a parent's expert guidance can; children will need to form secure attachments to thrive later in their adult years.
Check out these new child-toddler interactions! Squee!
Elder Updates
Growing Together allows beloved Sim adults to age gracefully into Sim Elders. Grandma can now Power Walk at Urban Park, complete puzzles, play Scramble at the new Activity Table, serve as caretaker of the family Keepsake Box, give Life Lessons, Reminisce on Good Times, and even have a favorite grandchild.
Elders take a more specialized role in families. They can take care of children while their exhausted parents catch some shut eye and keep their minds sharp at the Recreation Center. Sims 4 developers appear to have delivered the massive, generations update for which players have longed. After all, for many, the Sims family experience is the bedrock upon which the franchise thrives. Through Growing Together, the Sims 4 hopes to render that foundation rock solid. Jungle Rush - Update OverviewAfter a few days of Twitter teasers, Sims Mobile developers rolled out their newest update via a series of EA Creator content. This fresh update, which will trigger in-game on July 18th, is entitled "Jungle Rush," and it will feature assets worthy of any self-respecting jungle adventurer. Though a Sim Festival, a new Sweet Treat Showdown, two new Treasure Hunts, a special edition Wumple's Wishlist quest, a purchasable jungle lot, and a series of repeated pack options, "Jungle Rush" offers players a verdant trek through some of Sims 4's Jungle Adventure and Outdoor Retreat Create-a-Sim and Build/Buy content. Many thanks to SalixCat and Michiiiro for the infographic. Jungle Rush: Sim FestivalOn July 18th, Mobile Simmers can begin the Jungle Rush Sim Festival. By performing everyday, in-game activities, players are rewarded with pink tickets as currency. As Simmers collect more pink tickets, they can advance along one of two different in-game "tracks," a paid track and a free track. This is, of course, not new to seasoned Mobile Simmers, but newbies may also recognize this feature as the infamous "battle pass" monetization method from games such as Fortnite or Call of Duty. Naturally, the free pass offers Simmers a few jungle-themed items - thick, hanging vines, moss-covered stones, ancient-looking wallpaper, towering palm trees, a tropical-wooden bench, and a slew of in-game currency. However, the paid track offers Simmers far more rewards. Initially, having paid the 9.99 USD for the "premium track," Simmers will get to welcome the devilishly handsome King Raymundo as an NPC. This swarthy, masculine Sim hosts the Sim Festival this time around, and Sims franchise OGs will recognize him as the mummy from Sims 3, newly, deliciously de-mummified. As usual, Simmers will be able to befriend, betroth, or beleaguer King Raymundo at the heart's content. Following the procurement of fresh Sim meat, Simmers who have purchased the premium festival pass will then begin progressing along tiered rewards which slowly increase in value. Players can earn a four-o-clock shadow beard, jungle wear, a new desk, wooden flooring, an intricately engraved wooden door, thick hanging vines, a beautifully carved wash basin of stone and glass, a large monstera plant, a new coffee table, fresh fencing, a turban, and a new house template. 74 Summer Lagoon + Lagoon Lodge Designer HomeAlong the paid track is the new designer home, Lagoon Lodge. A little home covered in vines and filled with many of the jungle items offered in this update, the premium home fits neatly on the new available lot. The new lot is an island off Briny Heights' mainland. Surrounded with warm blue-green water teeming with purple, squirming fish and thick foliage, 74 Summer Lagoon is a 10x15 lot that Simmers can buy for 7.99 British Pounds or 9.99 USD. Treasure Hunts & Sweet TreatsThe Jungle Rush update will come with two new Treasure Hunts and a Sweet Treat Showdown event. "Daunting Dusk" will begin August 1st and the "Hallways Ready" treasure hunt, which is back-to-school themed, will run August 29th. Both events require players to dig up golden bunnies and ancient relics as in-game currency. Simmers can exchange these currencies for a variety of themed prizes, as pictured below. Sweet Treat Showdown: Island Posh will begin August 15th, and it will offer players several island-ready assets in exchange for competing in a reality show-like bake-off. Many thanks to Rachybop for the EA Creator screens! Wumple’s Special List: The King’s HoardInterestingly, a special Wumple's Wishlist will also trigger in-game as a part of this update. Through "The King's Hoard," players will be able to complete tasks and earn many past Wumple's Wishlist items alongside two new items as pictured above.
As always, many thanks to the hard-working Sims Mobile EA Creators who create lovely infographics and videos for the Sims Mobile community. Do follow Rachybop, SalixCat, Michiiiro, NeelSimsPlay, SimmerdownMal, and KarenKeren for more. What excites you about the Sims Mobile update? Talk to us on Twitter! Summer Paradise is here! The Firemonkeys development team has finally unveiled that their latest Sims Mobile update - Summer Paradise - will drop August 12th at 3:30 AM UTC! Following the success of their recent “Hello, Japan!” update, Sims Mobile developers quickly pivoted to provide players a summer season theme in the newest update. This update, which includes two new treasure hunt events, two Sweet Treats Reruns, and a fresh festival for Mobile players to enjoy, is called “Summer Paradise,” and it offers Simmers the summer fun, sun, and surf needed to properly close out the season. Counted among the update’s brand new Mobile assets are some of the Build/Buy and Create-a-Sim objects from Sims 4: Island Living, Sims 4: Backyard Stuff, and the free Hispanic Heritage Month items from the October 2020 base game update. The Sims Festival is a bi-monthly event that rewards daily players with not only Create-a-Sim items, Build/Buy assets, and in-game currency but also the feeling of game progression, which Sims Mobile sorely lacked for many years. As the player completes certain daily and seasonal (long-term) tasks, the game gives pink progress tickets. As players collect tickets, they unlock tiers of prizes, with higher tiers requiring more tickets. Summer Paradise’s free track offers Simmers a single wooden door, a summery shell necklace, a double wooden door, and a signed autograph from Nalani, the newest Sims Mobile NPC and star of Sims 4: Island Living. Simmers who buy the Festival pass for $9,99 USD, unlock Nalani as an NPC, her hair, Nalani’s sheer top, her skirt, a ceiling fan, a water slide, a tropical sofa, a new roof pattern, a house template the comes with a small blue car, sunscreen make-up, tropical plants, humble wall patterns, and crossed spear torches. But this highly-anticipated update also brings two new Treasure Hunts, too! Infographic by Game Changer Salix Cat. In return for digging and dusting for relics and golden bunnies, players can earn more beach-themed prizes in the upcoming “Beach Retreat” Treasure Hunt. Floral-patterned clothing, elegant wooden furniture, comfortable sand shoes, a lazy hammock, and a fresh flower crown all await hot-weather hopefuls in this vibrant hunt. This Treasure hunt drops August 11th at 11:30PM EST. The Beatnik Treasure Hunt will trigger in game September 11th. This hunt will bring some casual CAS items, modern beds and seating, a hip geometric window, and a steam room grand prize. The complete list of products are pictured below. The update also comes stuffed with purchasable packs, all of which can be perused below thanks to a comprehensive infographic from Game Changer Simmerdown Mal. Two Sweet Treat events come folded in Summer Paradise. After baking, mixing, and frosting pastries in a reality-show like competition, players earn the tokens they need to exchange for new game assets. The Catwalk Fabulous Sweet Treats, rerunning September 26th, will offer players the sleek modern furniture and head-turning CAS worthy of September’s fashion week. The grand prize is a the top-earning modeling career. Conversely, the Country Living Sweet Treats drops August 27th. It’ll offer players the classic country build/buy and simple clothing well-suited for any cottage-core dream. Naturally, Summer Paradise also comes with two new Wumples Wishlists. Wumples #63 offers two clutter items: a domed platter and a chopping board filled with fruits and vegetables. Wumples #64 offers two Sims 4: Spa Day items: an elegant lotus bloom candle and the large, bright lotus floor decoration. Lastly, folded into the update are cultural items to celebrate Hispanic Heritage in September and October. On September 15th, Sims Mobile players will enjoy vibrant dining tables, dining chairs, a traditional grill, a pergola climbing with begonias and ivy, and a brightly colored mosaic— a very large, beautiful bit of wall art. OverviewSummer is in full swing, and the world of Sims has begun heating up with fresh events and new pack announcements. Sims FreePlay kept players busy with a new garden-themed SimChase, a Produce Market Rerun, and a Moroccan Kitchen reboot. Just days away from their final few events for the current update, Sims FreePlayers are looking to the horizon for the newest gamut of events for the June and July months. Meanwhile, Sims Mobile kicked off their Modular Wardrobe Treasure Hunt event and began the final stretch of their newest game mechanic: Sim Festivals. Naturally, the biggest news of the week came from Sims 4, which dropped its long-anticipated "Dream Home Decorator" game pack. Simmers in all circles are scrambling to decorate, remodel, and snag the best items for their pixel people to enjoy. The Sims FreePlayMoroccan Kitchen Influence Island Event. All guides provided by GameChanger GirlWhoGames. In classic FreePlay form, Sims FreePlay inundated its players with several, exciting events, sometimes all at once. On May 27th, players began the newest SimChase: Garden Grapple. During this event, players complete a laundry list of tasks-- many of which require multiple Sims-- in order to win the perfect pool-side accoutrements. If players are able to beat the "rival" Sim by completing the given tasks within the time limit, they are able to earn special outdoor items like patterned patio flooring, a grand hot tub, modular stone planters crawling with cacti, garage doors, and stone cladding. Not long afterward, on June 1st, Simmers dived into the Produce Market Live Event rerun. A Live event that encourages Simmers to craft candles, constructor coins, glassware, jewelry, and pottery in return for prizes, Produce Market rewards Simmers with the brightly colored items required to build a quaint fresh farmer's market. This event is stuffed to the brim with items like checkered store flooring, bread displays and hanging lights, wall signs and cute chalk displays, rustic stone animal stacks, produce freezers, grocery counters, shelves, fruit baskets, and much more. The grand prize for these crafting efforts is, of course, a grocery store lot already brimming with the offered prizes. If this were not enough, just one day later on June 2nd, a brand new Influence Island began for Sims FreePlayers! This Influence Island event is version two of a previous event-- Moroccan Kitchens. During this event, players confuse and cajole game NPCs into friendship. Their influencing efforts are rewarded with network coins, and these network coins purchase Moroccan-inspired assets like stone counters, squat glass tables, loose-fitting, colorful outfits, beautifully braided hair styles for men, and more. This event runs for just ten days and will run alongside a SimChase Rerun: Mansion Mania, which begins June 4th. Produce Market Live Event Garden Grapple Prizes The Sims MobileThe past few weeks have been busy for Sims Mobile, which added a new game element to its growing repertoire-- Sim Festivals. During these festivals, players complete in-game tasks to earn pink tickets. These tickets move players along a fixed track of prizes. Currently, Simmers can choose from two prize tracks. The first prize track is free and offers a sparse collection of prizes like a lovely armchair, a well-rounded stool, a metallic droplet table, perplexed dresser, and a signed autograph of new NPC Venessa Jeong. However, if a player purchases the "festival pass" for $9.99, they earn 60 levels of possible earnable prizes that include Venessa Jeong as an official in-game NPC, in-game currency packs, a fully-furnished house template, a wooden island tub, trendy hair and clothes, and more. Currently, players are digging and investigating their way through the newest Treasure Hunt event. As Sims uncover golden bunnies and ancient relics at various excavation sites, they turn in these currencies for such glamorous prizes as gilded modular cabinets, bright lamps, lovely rugs, modular shoe and coat closets, designer shoes, stylish hoodies, cropped clothing, fresh hats, and a new twisted hairdo for men. The incredible grand prize is a backlit vanity desk, tufted chaise, and plush seat. Sims Mobile is also nearing the end of its scheduled events for the most recent update, so Mobile players are hungrily watching gurus and GameChangers for word of the next update. The Sims 4This week, the highly anticipated "Dream Home Decorator" pack, a new Game Pack that allows Simmers to enjoy a new interior design career, hit Origin with a bang. The pack offers many jaw-dropping changes to build mode including modular seating, sectionals, and modular storage units. In addition, Likes and Dislikes were folded into both base game and Dream Home Decorator. The new interior design career encourages Simmers to remodel the homes of NPCs. After choosing a gig, Simmers travel to an NPC's home to remodel their room, floor, or commercial space. As Game Changers began releasing their reviews of the Game Pack, offered for $20 USD, the Sims community buzzed eagerly about their joys and disappointments. While lauded for its beautiful build assets, the pack has suffered from a few unfortunate glitches. In addition, some players, who are not as enthralled with the building portion of Sims 4, complained that the pack did not offer the gameplay that they had hoped.
Sims 4 players are already buzzing about the next Sims 4 expansion pack promised to arrive this summer, though developers have not yet revealed what the pack will entail. Until next time, stay safe and happy Simming! Hide your mods and custom content, Simmers! Sims 4 developers have planned two patches for the month of May; one smaller patch which will address smaller bug fixes such as: Another “larger” update will drop in game “later” this month, including the following fixes: The last update to the “hates children trait” is no small thing. Not long ago, Sims 4 developers tweaked the “hates children” trait so that Sims with the trait would refuse baby-making unless “dazed.” Understandably, some Simmers were deeply disturbed by such language, which suggested their beloved pixel people could be swayed into unwanted sexual activities if somehow inebriated or incapacitated. The community at large balked at the idea until The Sims Team released an official statement apologizing for the blunder. They promised to address this issue in a “later” patch. It appears that time has come. Additionally, this “later” and “larger” patch may include the Courtyard Oasis kit leaked early last week. This kit is rumored to release May 18th. What bug fix are you most looking forward to?
To say that the greater Sims community has been parched for new content for weeks is an understatement. After a rash of speculation about werewolves and a disruptive controversy about updated personality quirks, the Sims 4 community has sniffed around gurus for any hint of fresh content to sink their teeth into. Early this morning, Microsoft came to the rescue with a juicy leak that has a strong likelihood of truth. The leaked kit, listed on Microsoft’s stores, is called Courtyard Oasis, and it appears to feature luxurious Moroccan-inspired build/buy items. The items include fresh marble fountains, keyhole doorways, lattice-laced lanterns, geometric coffee tables, intricate wood-carved seating, and far more. Simmers who dabble in either Sims FreePlay or Sims Mobile may not be surprised by the possibility. Both Sims iterations have featured similar updates in the very recent past, particularly FreePlay. Months ago, FreePlay offered stunning divans, modular couches, gold-plated incense holders, key-hole doorframes, bronze lighting, and rich rugs that sent Simmers to a northern African paradise. During its first year running, Sims Mobile also featured some Moroccan items of their own, including lattice doors. Check out the screenshot below from Sims Mobile Central: Will Sims 4 Simmers soon enjoy the richly sumptuous items of Arabia just in time for Ramadan? According to Microsoft, this kit will drop May 18th.
For months, Sims Mobile had a big problem. Despite its bright, engaging design and stylish gameplay, Sims Mobile was beginning to lose its long-time players. After living and breathing the game for several months, the most dedicated players quickly reached the game’s inherent progress “caps,” hitting level 60, maxing all careers, hobbies, and relationships, obtaining the peak lifestyle title “Toast of the Town,” and completing the EcoWorkshop. While such a state of absolute completion is worthy of bragging rights, the experience effectively kills the game for those who desire progression. Progression is a strange and sometimes wily beast. Adept game designers must continually provide players with a sense of progression without completely overwhelming or boring them. Once a player has reached maximum level, there is little impetus for them to continue grinding the game’s offered content. Sims Mobile players stopped playing through hobbies and careers, stopped maxing relationships, stopped visiting EcoWorkshop, stopped engaging with LlamaZoom. Some players put the game down all together. After all, what was the point? The Sims Festival, rolled out April 19th, 2021, effectively addresses the issue of game progression for many. In a brilliant move that weaves together the time-worn events of Sims Mobile while simultaneously breathing new life into them, the Sims Festival offers players a feeling of progression as they earn pink tickets for completing certain career, hobby, relationship, and EcoWorkshop events. Players then turn in those tickets in return for prizes. Suddenly, players who had maxed Sims Mobile career, relationship, and hobby stories had a reason to return to them. Because the improved task list also often asks for a specific sort of completed event, it often forces players to work outside of their comfort zone. For example, a seasonal task (larger tasks that offer larger pay offs) might ask the player to earn a certain number of simoleons in a certain area— say the courthouse. If the player does not currently have Sims who work at the courthouse, then they will be forced to make a Sim change their career or introduce a new Sim into gameplay. This shakes up even the most entrenched of mobile Simming habits and makes the game feel almost new again. In addition, the seasonal tasks often ask players to purchase or develop new lots. This encourages even the most weary veteran to reinvest in building, a staple feature of the Sims since time immemorial. This new feature finally rewards players for doing what was already offered in game on a regular basis, encouraging jaded players to log in several times a day for their festival tickets. Predictably, perhaps, this much needed change did not come without a cost. While free-to-play players can now complete tasks in return for prize-winning pink tickets, they earn significantly less than “festival-ticket-track” players. For $9.99 USD, players who pay can earn up to 56 prizes over the course of 50 days. Free-to-play players can earn less than 15 prizes for the same effort. For the same effort but after paying $9.99, paying players can win the following prizes in addition to large sums of simoleons, SimCash, and fashion gems. This is the rub for some Sims Mobile players, who are quickly realizing that the lion’s share of mobile events are revenue-generating ones. The trouble that is microtransactions, however, is not a Sims Mobile specific one. Indeed, it is the mobile game standard in which all free-to-play mobile games participate. Even so, some players point out that while they expected a difference between the “free” and “paid” festival tracks, they did not expect such a large difference. In the end, however, both new and old players have re-engaged with the game that houses their precious pixel people, and this is, without a doubt, a positive thing. After weeks of anticipation, the Sims Mobile development team finally unveiled their next huge game-changing update late Thursday evening. The enormous update will introduce a fresh event type, the arrival of house templates, and the long-awaited demise of LlamaZoom. Read EA’s Celebrity Life Blog notes here: https://www.ea.com/en-gb/games/the-sims/the-sims-4/news/sim-festival-faq?__twitter_impression=true&fbclid=IwAR0QiwI93siJCnwXzL33WlEEXAmCGQVRFyrhJSGt058VMyGjy0_4p_c0LvU The End of LlamaZoomLlamaZoom became a staple of the Sims Mobile franchise a couple years ago in the wake of the static, dependable daily task list. The LlamaZoom truck, with Sim NPC Emily at the helm, offered LlamaZoom tokens in exchange for a predetermined gamut of relationship, hobby, or career tasks. Mobile Simmers used these tokens to unlock land or purchase coveted Build/buy objects. Mobile’s Celebrity Life update completely removes Emily and her ubiquitous llama truck for good. Instead, players will complete daily tasks for a new in-game currency: prize tickets. Sim FestivalsSimmers can redeem prize tickets at festivals, fifty-day special events that offer incredible CAS and Build/Buy prizes. A new one will trigger for every major Sims Mobile update, or as soon as their app icon changes. Here is a quick rundown of how festivals work: In short:
House TemplatesHouse templates are pre-built homes that Simmers who are short on time (ahem, or building skill) can plop down on any lot for their Sims. It appears that Simmers who purchase the “Festival” ticket will gain access to these exclusive homes and a new NPC to boot. Players will be able to befriend or marry the new NPC. There is far more to this update, and all will be revealed soon! Keep it locked right here on Simmer’s Digest!
