If you’re looking for an excellent Sims 4 Let’s Play series to binge watch today, Shiipty delivers. With relatable narration and smooth editing, you can tell Shiipty really cares about her stories. The series begins with a beautifully orchestrated trailer that introduces us to our protagonist, Charlie. Teenage angst is rife as Charlie writes in her diary about what to expect when she leaves to study at Foxbury University. Her cousin, ‘boy crazy’ Chelsea, has been giving her stick for still being a virgin. This prompts Charlie to reminisce about the party where she had her “magical” first kiss. Unfortunately, that infatuation didn’t end so well as she never heard from him again. Now she’s feeling a little anxious about what University life might hold for her. When it comes to boys she obviously doesn’t have all that much experience but Chelsea seems to think University will change that…
The first chapter of the series opens in the common room at Foxbury. We find out Chelsea is jealous of Charlie for coming from a stable family and generally having a better start in life. She is also still annoyed that Charlie choose Foxbury over Britechester- that choice seems to still be looming over them both. Foxbury is perfect for Charlie though, whom has enrolled as a Computer Science Major. We learn that Charlie’s parents have paid for the both cousin’s first year at Uni but come their second year they will be expected to fund their education themselves. How will the tension between the two girls affect them later once the stress of attending Uni really kicks in? Will Charlie find a nice guy to date or will peer pressure ruin University life?  Chapter 28 is all about a fun (new to me) Simmer who has decided to take on the decades challenge in a big way. SimQueen's New Decade challenge is a robust playlist, ready for you to get lost in. SimQueen starts the series off by introducing us to the family, the goals for the series and how it will all play out. I simply adore those LP's where you can settle in and binge tons of episodes and this one, presently is at 107 episodes which is a perfect place to be. I love the vibe and feel of ThePsychic's channel, in this very low key casual LP, we will get to follow along with Ale as she dives in to getting a higher education. ThePsychic will walk you through getting to Alex all prepared for university with new outfits and then while we wait for Alex's university acceptance letter, Alex takes on an odd job to get a little extra spending cash. She has been building tiny homes since almost as long as her channel has been around. Her channel is absolutely chock full of brilliant tiny homes and I can not wait to see what she does with the new pack. Being an EA game changer she already has early access to the pack so you can also check out all of the new items, and get a sense of what you will have should you to get the pack. This week I am excited to introduce you all to Allen C-H's Waverider Twins series. This series is a fun continuation of Allen C-H's Waverider legacy family which started off as an exploration of the Realm of Magic pack. Within this series we will follow the lives of the Waverider Twins as they explore university life and work toward getting a degree. I am amazed that we have gotten through to 20 chapters in the Let's watch Series, and I thought we should take a moment to do a proper recap on both what the series is, how to participate, and look at all of the amazing creators who have made this series amazing.Recap
The Let's Watch Series goes back to a moment in time, in the Simmer's Digest infancy really, where I had this idea of how fun it might be to collectively watch a particular Simmer's series on their YouTube Channel.
The idea I was thinking at the time was "how supportive and awesome would it be if we a group of Simmers watched a a video on a another Simmer's YouTube channel and, gave the video a thumbs up, left a comment, and then shared the link out via their social medias to encourage others to check out the Simmer's channel" Since the first chapter the series has developed into include LP's, builders, CAS creators and even Twitch streamers. I have also had the wonderful opportunity to interview many of the members who participated in the Let's Watch series on the Simmer's Digest Podcast, and many of them have talked about how amazing this series has been for the views and engagement on their YouTube channels. I am so thrilled at the success of this series and I have some fun new endeavors to help bolster and keep this series going with some fresh new ideas, so stay tuned to this site right here as well as Simmer's Digest on Twitter for more news on things to come. If you are interested in participating in the series and/or would love to be featured then join in on the fun each week as I post a new series/channel/Simmer to check out.
