Who doesn’t love a stunning kitchen island? Islands grant extra kitchen counter space, storage, and gives any kitchen an immediate luxury upgrade. You can take islands to the next level by using the wrap-around trick.

Take Carmen’s kitchen as a spectacular example. Place a column in the middle of a room. Use that column to mount not only counters but also cabinets! Carmen, also known as Lily Lost in game, has expressed that this is a trick she picked up from White Palace, the somewhat infamous Sims Mobile builder taking Simstagram by storm.

Another way you can snag this look for yourself is Danielle Snow Dankness’s method. Instead of a column, use an O-shaped room, shrink the “o” portion to as small of an area that you can, and then mount your cabinets and counters on those walls.
